The location is particularly good and fantastic, short walk to Very near to the centre of town as well as restaurants and the centre of town, you cannot beat it. There's Zest Cafe at walking distance from the hotel, they have tea/coffee/desserts.

Exceptionally nice location in a downtown area, really close to the shopping centre and restaurants, NZ's North Island, and the shops and river. Good service offered, beautifully decorated and airy room with a bathroom, robes, as for instance. The breakfast with eggs various available if wanted

The location of this place is fantastic, being close to the Taruheru river, shops, and city center.

The room was newly remodelled and large with free WiFi, a lounge, and a TV set.

Free parking onsite provided. A wide range of food available in the dining room. Particularly good location close to the harbour, walking distance to wine bars and eateries...

I thoroughly enjoyed its superbly friendly and helpful employees.

The atmosphere created was cozy. Deluxe queen room had an exceptionally comfortable bed. I had a microwave, coffee & tea making machines and a refrigerator.

My go-to spot in the area, where the staff is incredibly friendly, providing top-notch service, and the amenities such as a lovely pool and convenient parking make the experience perfect.

Room we had included a bathtub which was nice for relaxing. the breakfast they served was amazing, had tasty croissants and a variety of cereals to choose from! 🥐.

The location was excellent, near Paulnache Art Gallery, shops, restaurants, and the river. Cedar House is conveniently situated in Gisborne, New Zealand, making it easy to explore the town and nearby attractions on the North Island.

The hotel offers a friendly service. the room has been recently renovated and is well equipped with a lounge area and Netflix. the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, ensuring a very relaxing stay for guests.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The room was spacious, the linens were luxurious, and everything was spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. We also loved the convenient location, just a quick walk from the city center. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The value for money at this hotel is excellent. For an affordable price, we were able to enjoy a massive bedroom with an amazing bath, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The attention to detail in the rooms was impressive, with a jacuzzi to use in the winter and even hot pastries for breakfast. The staff provided a friendly and helpful service throughout our stay.

The bed was extremely comfy. the room was well-appointed, with a lounge and Netflix. - the hotel was in an excellent location close to a nice restaurant on Christmas Eve, the center, and the nearby Taruheru River. - It was great to be close to Gisborne farmers' market.
